DRS 1202 Swinging Door System Wins Doors Category in Record Products Competition

DRS 1202
Our new DRS 1202 Swinging Door System took home top honors in the Doors category during Architectural Record’s 2016 “Record Products” competition! This one-of-a-kind entrance system requires no top or bottom rail, resulting in a distinct all-glass aesthetic. This is made possible by a unique hydraulic closing mechanism that’s concealed within the slim 2" vertical pivot tube. As an added benefit, installation is simplified because you no longer need to cut into the floor to install a door closer. Customizable features include:
  • Door Heights Up to 96"
  • Glass or Wall Mountable
  • Five Architectural Finishes
  • Three Different Spring Tensions for Closing Mechanism
  • Transom Hardware for Openings Up to 127" Tall
  • 3/8" or 1/2" Tempered Glass Sizes
DRS 1202 Series Door Kits are available with glass already installed to make your job easier.

Increase Security Using NEW Electric Strike Keeper with Bolt Position Sensor

Having a door latch sensor is a practical way to ensure safety and security; having one that can tell you if the doors are locked as well is even better! We’ve upgraded our Electric Strike Housing with an integrated Bolt Position Sensor that will notify facility personnel if doors are closed and locked. This increases security and convenience.

The Electric Strike Keeper with Bolt Position Sensor is compatible with most building security and fire safety systems. It permits use of card readers, RFID badges, and remote door monitors and controls. It’s suitable for 1/2" and 3/4" tempered glass doors, and can be used in conjunction with our Blumcraft panic and deadbolt handles.
